What do you think will happen next? Use clues from the story to make your guess.

Who, what, where, when, why, and how?
Infer
Use clues from the text and your own experiences to guess about feelings or implications
Good readers know how to use strategies to help them stay engaged with a text.
As you read with your child, model how to do each of these so that your child understands it is part of the reading process.
